Happy New Year!

And that, dear reader, is my first attempt at homemade pasta. I made it yesterday morning and served it for our last dinner of 2011. The recipe and tutorial are to come (I was concentrating too hard to take photos this time). But I will say this: the process wasn’t as intimidating as I expected and the results were so satisfying.

I’m proud to have ended the year by tackling one of my longtime goals. Can’t wait to see what 2012 brings!
